Leadership Circle & Tocqueville society

More than 1,500 people choose to extend their reach and connect with other community-minded individuals who are working together to create lasting change through Leadership Circle and Tocqueville Society. The collective power of this exceptional blend of individuals can transform how people think about, talk about, and participate in United Way.

Young leaders Society

Young Leaders Society is the next generation of professionals who make a difference in our community. Through deeper involvement, Young Leaders gain and take action to create volunteer projects that positively impact education, income, and health in Kent County. They have the opportunity to make greater community change alongside their peers by lending their insight and engaging others from their generation. The next class of Young Leaders will be forming soon. Watch for more details on Facebook and Twitter.

Over the past 100 years, we have been privileged to have the strong guidance of community leaders who have volunteered their time and expertise with us. Past members of our Board of Directors and Campaign Cabinet join our Ambassador Society to continue serving as official representatives of our organization and champions of our mission.

Many local businesses and organizations request United Way speakers during their annual fundraising campaigns. Each speaker is unique and brings with them a personal story of their involvement with United Way. If you would like to tell your story or lend your voice to engage potential donors and volunteers, please contact Jessica Young
