Young leaders Society
Young Leaders Society is the next generation of professionals who are working to make a difference in our community. In conjunction with our mission to reduce poverty, the Young Leaders Society exists to ignite the passions and recognize the talents of young professionals. To advance sustainable solutions for our community, Young Leaders take action to positively impact education, income, and health in Kent County, lend their insight, and engage their peers. Over the past 100 years, we have been privileged to have the strong guidance of community leaders who have volunteered their time and expertise with us. Past members of our Board of Directors and Campaign Cabinet join our Ambassador Society to continue serving as official representatives of our organization and champions of our mission.
Many local businesses and organizations request United Way speakers during their annual fundraising campaigns. Each speaker is unique and brings with them a personal story of their involvement with United Way. If you would like to tell your story or lend your voice to engage potential donors and volunteers, please contact Olivia Onderlinde.
