Throughout the month of March, Heart of West Michigan United Way will be coordinating “Fill the Cart” collection drives all across Kent County to bring together much-needed items that will ease the burden for children, families, seniors, and veterans who are struggling to meet their basic needs. Many of these families are working hard each month to pay for housing and food but cannot always afford other basic needs items like toiletries, undergarments, and cleaning supplies.
One of the goals of these collection drives is to make it easy to for donors to participate – simply add a few extra items to your cart the next time you go grocery shopping or run errands.
