School is almost out, and many local children will be staying home full-time for the next few months. Here are some resources to help parents, guardians, and caretakers transition into the summer:

Giving Back
Check out our Youth & Family Volunteer Guide for volunteer opportunities and practical gifts to make at home for an organization or neighbor in need.

June 21 is Food from the Heart, and we're looking for 1,000 volunteers to help us pack 200,000 meals. Ages 5+ are welcome to volunteer with a parent or guardian.

Search for more opportunities through our Volunteer Center.

Finding Meals
To ensure children can continue to receive nutritious meals throughout the summer, meals are available at local sites throughout the season. Children 18 years of age or younger may participate at no charge, and many sites also have kid-friendly summer activities scheduled, too. Find a site near you:
