WE UNITE COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO INVEST IN SOLUTIONS THAT REDUCE POVERTY IN WEST MICHIGAN.

WE ENVISION A THRIVING COMMUNITY FOR ALL.

COMMUNItY INVESTMENT FUND 2016-2017

Because of you, we have helped 165,017 people, including 36,384 families.

All gifts made to Heart of West Michigan United Way’s Community Investment Fund stay in Kent County and support the work of more than 50 local non-profit organizations. Together, the programs supported by our Community Investment Fund serve 1 in 4 people in Kent County, giving donors the opportunity to make an impact on many people’s lives through a single donation.

Since 1917, Heart of West Michigan United Way has invested more than $500 million into Kent County. Our commitment to connecting resources to important community outcomes is reflected in our Community Investment Fund. With an emphasis on accountability, we work closely with our agency partners to ensure that your generous donations are thoughtfully and effectively allocated to the areas in which they will have the biggest impact on making Kent County a better place to live and work.
