2-1-1
One of the most valuable programs United Way provides to our community is our 2-1-1 free information and referral service. 2-1-1 is often the first place people turn to for help when they’ve fallen on hard times. An average of 70,000 people each year are referred to local resources by calling 2-1-1, and their calls keep us in touch with Kent County’s greatest needs. This program, available 24/7, also serves as a clearinghouse for many other organizations, so they don’t have to maintain their own hotlines, saving time and precious resources.
For Nonprofits
Nonprofit organizations and government agencies can be listed as well as their programs or services. These organizations and agencies must provide health or human services to Michigan residents in order to be listed in the database. Please read our inclusion/exclusion policy for more information.
Agencies listed in the 2-1-1 database are encouraged to review and update their information periodically. This keeps the database as accurate as possible. If your agency's information needs to be updated, please contact us.
